Why Join Us?
Through our strong relationships with health and care, we're here to help address local issues that matter to local providers. Here's how:
- Always with you: whatever you're going through, we're here and we will try to help.
- Representation: we rally around the issues that matter most to our members and use our relationships across the sector to drive change.
- Strength in numbers: our growing membership means that when we campaign for providers, people listen and change happens.
- Negotiation: our united voice means we have collective negotiating opportunities and the chance to influence system change and improvement.
- Information and insights: our regional and national connections mean we can learn from others to improve what happens here.
- Connection and influence: we ensure your voice is heard nationally too; we are members of the South East Social Care Alliance (SESCA) and several national trade bodies.
We have a range of membership options tailored to suit different social care providers, find out which membership package is right for you.

Social Community
Members can opt to join our Whatsapp group which offers peer-to-peer support, advice, and information-sharing. This is one channel we use to communicate and engage with our members; it also allows us to spot trends and see in real-time where help is needed.

Projects
We deliver a range of projects from the Association that benefit our members. Recent projects include the Data Protection Security Toolkit (DSPT) and digital care record funding project.

Advocacy and Campaigning
We play a vital role in campaigning and advocating for our members by raising awareness about critical issues in the care sector, such as funding, workforce conditions, and access to services. Through strategic lobbying, collaboration with policymakers, and public engagement, we ensure the voices of caregivers are heard to improve care standards, and influence positive change in health and care policies and practices.

Training and Development
We offer a range of informal training and development sessions orientated around your learning needs and interests.
Members also have the opportunity to meet our Patrons who offer expertise in the health and social care space.

Help and Advice
You can contact us any time about any problem you have. We're here to help, signpost, and advocate for our members.
Our members get filtered, up-to-date information when there are changes in the sector or need to know updates from local authorities, health partners, regulators, national bodies or the Government.

Provider Networks
We hold regular provider forums where we bring our members together with key senior members from the Local Authority, CQC, ICB, and NHS to share issues and problem-solve.
We move around the region to ensure we can have face-to-face network meetings. We also offer online sessions.

Celebration
Work with someone brilliant who you'd like to recognise?
Our Members can apply for our Care Awards and come to our glitzy awards night, celebrating the special people who make a massive difference to the people they care for.

Events
Our members get access to events, including two annual conferences and our annual awards night. We invite speakers from across the sector, offer informal training, and run workshops with our members.
Skills for Care Registered Managers' Network
Funded by Skills for Care, our network meetings offer a safe, supportive space for care providers, managers, deputies, and team leaders.
These sessions are an opportunity to connect with others in the sector, share experiences, and stay informed.
Representatives from Skills for Care regularly attend to present the latest training opportunities, workforce development initiatives, and available funding. It’s also a great space to raise questions, voice challenges, and exchange best practices.
Each meeting features guest speakers covering a range of relevant topics—and we’re always open to your suggestions on who you'd like to hear from in the future.
Our networks are led by registered managers who truly understand the day-to-day realities of care. New faces are always warmly welcomed—so come along and be part of the conversation.
