Hampshire Care Association is inviting adult social care providers across Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth to share their experiences of rising costs, workforce pressures and commissioning arrangements.

Hampshire Care Association (HCA) has launched a survey to build a clearer picture of the challenges facing local adult social care providers and the impact on the sustainability of care services.

We want to hear directly from providers about how rising operating costs, local authority and NHS commissioning fees, changes to international recruitment rules and wider workforce challenges are affecting their organisations.

The survey will help us understand the pressures providers are facing, the implications for staffing and service capacity, and what changes could make a meaningful difference.

Why your views matter

As the independent, provider-led Care Association for Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth, HCA brings together the experiences of local care providers to inform discussions with commissioners and health and care system partners.

The stronger the evidence we can gather, the clearer the picture we can present of the realities facing providers and the challenges involved in delivering sustainable, high-quality care.

Whether you are an HCA member or not, we want to hear from you. Every response will help build a broader understanding of the pressures affecting adult social care across our region.

Take part in the survey

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and will be analysed collectively.

Complete the survey

The closing date is Sunday 6 December 2026.

Please share the survey with other care providers in your network to help us capture a wide range of experiences across Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth.

Together, we can strengthen the evidence and ensure providers’ experiences are heard.
