Take part in an exciting University-led study and receive free nutritional feedback on your menus.

As part of our commitment to promote research in social care Hampshire Care Association is supporting an exciting new study led by the Universities of Reading and Surrey, in partnership with Quorn Foods and Food Bio Systems.

The project is exploring how meat, dairy, fish, vegetarian and plant-based meals are provided in UK care homes.

How you can help

At this early stage, the research team is looking for care homes willing to share a 7-day standard lunch and dinner menu (excluding specialised diets).

Why take part?

✅ Your menus will help shape a national research trial
✅ If you provide ingredient details, you’ll receive free nutritional feedback from an accredited nutritionist
✅ Early involvement means you can register interest in the main trial developing plant-based menu options tailored for care homes

To take part, simply email your menus to [email protected] and let them know if you’d like nutritionist feedback. Please quote Hampshire Care Association when contacting the researcher.
