As part of our ongoing collaboration with the NIHR, we are sharing this opportunity to get involved with research that has been introduced to us through their network.

The NIHR has connected with Dr Abigail Moore, GP a Doctoral Research Fellow based in a care home, who is currently working with the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Community Healthcare on a survey exploring health technology in care homes. We thought this would be of particular interest to our members who are keen to engage with research and innovation in the care home setting.

Dr Moore is an experienced researcher with a strong track record of working collaboratively with care homes. She previously delivered the DISCO-UTI study across Oxford and Wessex-based homes. She is keen to develop conversations around research in care homes and to work with providers to shape future study ideas and innovation opportunities.
