The home is a Grade II listed Georgian house of character with large south facing patios, gardens and seating areas. Situated in Old Totton only a few minutes level walk from the local shops, post office, churches and other amenities.
At Elingfield we aim to provide a warm comfortable, home, efficiently run by the experienced Owner/Manager.
These factors combine and enable you to live a happy active life whilst providing all the care and support that is needed.
Should you become ill you will continue to be cared for at Elingfield if so wished (subject to approval from your GP and the Manager).
The lounge is comfortably furnished reflecting the character of the building. Plasma Wide Screen televisions with loop systems for the hard of hearing are a feature. Radios and board games etc are available.
Meals are of the highest standard, appetisingly served and prepared daily by our own cooks. A four-week menu is operated. Special diets/personal requests are catered for. Guests are very welcome to lunch or tea by prior arrangement with the Manager.
Outings, entertainers and activities are regularly arranged and staff will encourage/assist you to pursue indoor/outdoor hobbies and activities.
Visitors can be assured of a warm welcome and may visit daily after 1O.3Oam. We request that visiting during mealtimes is avoided wherever possible.
Accommodation
The well arranged accommodation is on two floors accessed by stair lifts. There is a choice of single and twin rooms. All rooms offer a high degree of comfort and are linked to an emergency call system to ensure contact with staff 24 hours a day.
Facilites
Security boxes are available for the safekeeping of valuables. Fees, Terms and Conditions, Aims and Objectives together with Policies and Inspection reports are available on request.
