Brookdale House has been a family run business since 1996 set in the pleasant surroundings of Chandlers Ford in Hampshire. The home has achieved the high accolade from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as a 3 Star (excellent) care facility and provides twenty-two placements for full time care placements, specialising in Dementia Care with a team highly trained and dedicated care staff.

We strive to provide an "home from home" environment providing 24 hour care and Day Care through its dedicated trained staff, ensuring that the care values of privacy, dignity and respect are adhered to, allowing peace of mind for the every client and their families.

Unusually Brookdale House has three lounges and a separate quiet room. There is a delightful mature garden where summer afternoon tea can be served in the home's unique folly. There is a walk-in shower room and an assisted hoist bathroom. Meal times are seen as social occasions with our clients offered a varied and healthy balanced and freshly cooked menu that meets individual preferences and dietary requirements. Breakfast is served in your room or the dining room; Lunch and Tea will be served in our homely styled dining room.

Our activities co-ordinator provides an extensive and varied activities programme within the home with the added services from external professional entertainers, visits to theatres, clubs and schools throughout the year. All this to keep our clients involved and stimulated with daily life.

Our clients care needs are met through families, individual care plans, Doctors, District Nurses as well as visiting Dentist, Chiropodist, Opticians, and Hairdressers and clergy to the home.

Accommodation

We offer a choice of shared en-suite and single en-suite rooms all furnished to a high standard, with a personal care call system. Clients are encouraged to personalise their rooms with personal possessions and furniture.
